As a class we have discutted some terms that are really important nowadyas such as WEb 1.0, Web 2.0, INTERNET, WWW, CALL.

For example WEB 1.0 represents all webs that are static and dont have any interaction with the user, it was the way all webs were created it was the concept.

Nowadyas we have the opportunity to interact with the WEB 2.0 that represents all the new way to create we pages, according to that is really relevent to teachers participate in this new technology.

The definition of INTERNET as a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite (often called TCP/IP, although not all applications use TCP) to serve billions of users worldwide let us know that INTENET represents the hardware of this system name new comunication.

Besides, WWW is a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet. With a web browser, one can view web pages that may contain text, images, videos, and other multimedia, and navigate between them via hyperlinks, in summary it represents the software of the system.

Of course, a very usefull tool in classs should be CALL is succinctly defined in a seminal work by Levy (1997: p. 1) as "the search for and study of applications of the computer in language teaching and learning". CALL embraces a wide range of ICT applications and approaches to teaching and learning foreign languages, from the "traditional" drill-and-practice programs that characterised CALL in the 1960s and 1970s to more recent manifestations of CALL, e.g. as used in a virtual learning environment and Web-based distance learning.

Now we invite you to check this information in a very nice PPT we have:
